M aybe it's being an editor, where I'm constantly looking months (even years!) ahead at a time; or perhaps it's just what comes with getting older, but this past year, I can't help but feel that time is moving startlingly fast. As I write this column, we've just fi nished conceiving our editorial calendar for 2018—along with forecasts on 2019—and we're well in the midst of executing our December issue for 2017. It's hard to keep up the pace! And though I am genetically blessed in terms of my hair (my mother didn't have grays until her late thirties), I am fi nally starting to see sprigs of silver peek through. While I would like to say I'll be one of those women who wholeheartedly embraces the gray trend—natural or not—that is currently au courant, the fact of the matter is, I want to hide those little buggers stat. For now, I need only lean on a temporary concealer for these stray touch-ups, but I will inevitably turn to full- coverage, gray-targeting color to fi x my hair woes. Good thing this month's issue has all the answers I need to stave off the effects of time—at least when it comes to matters of hair, skin and nail care!
