Filled with endless blue skies and a parade of colorful fl owers, this mystical fantasyland is also home to a dark forest and dangerous jungles. Stylist Élise Antoine found inspiration in this paradox, which she channeled in her OZ collection to celebrate the modern female. "OZ is an animated collection of warm and cold contrasts," explains Antoine. "The styling lines oscillate between the decorative twisted braid, vague knots and fl at, smooth hair. The color of the hair was chosen to create a contrast with the skin and a harmony in the styling." The images from the compilation feature a redhead wearing a diverse series of looks that range from a blunt bob and voluminous waves to hair that is knotted, coiled and mixed with steel tones. From one style to the next, she can go from playful to glamorous to serious—then back again. Her eyes and lips display a range of fi ery hues, celebrating her fi erce spirit and warm nature. Says Antoine,"This OZ collection brings to the forefront the feminine yet mischevious personality of today's woman."
