36 | BEAUTY LAUNCHPAD | JULY 2016 A Whole New Hue Conversations/ Launches W hen you've spent four years developing a new product line, you certainly don't leave anything to chance. And such is the case with the much-anticipated launch of Celeb Luxury (celebluxury.com), a two-pronged system designed to keep haircolor as fresh and vibrant as it was on the day it was dyed. Color guru Leland researched everything, from the name of the company—"Celebs create an emotional bond, and everyone feels they deserve luxury," he explains—to how to best maintain hues in between visits. The result: Gem Lites and Viral, two new cleansing lines that feature unique Colorposit technology, which adds color while cleansing. Gem Lites colorwash is available in 10 brilliant, gem-inspired shades. "Gem colors are stable—they never fade or alter," explains Leland. "They also create an emotional connection." The Gem Lites pillar includes Citrine for pale blondes; Sunstone for sunny blondes; Cognac Quartz for caramel blondes; Tourmaline for strawberry blondes; Fire Opal for coppers; Ruby for redheads; Amber for those with copper brown hair; and Brown Diamond for brunettes. Additionally, two shades double as color correctors to reduce yellowing or brassiness: Flawless Diamond and Brown Tahitian Pearl, respectively. The line also incorporates Shinewash, which is designed to be used every other cleanse to manage vibrancy of haircolor tones, and Bonditioner, which reduces porosity, imparts high-impact shine and is so nourishing that results are unmistakable even after fi ve shampoos! Finally, Celeb Secret Fix is a leave-in spray that smoothes hair while offering heat protection, humidity resistance and enhanced shine. While the line is obviously a no- brainer for at-home use, there are a slew of in-salon uses as well—"designed to encourage you to use your Colorbrain!" Leland exclaims. For example, you can use Gem Lites to lock in and/or adjust color at the shampoo bowl, tone foil highlights or balayage and replenish color after a perm or relaxer. Just look right on the package of the backbar products for additional pro-only uses. Leland introduces two innovative haircare systems designed to keep color as bold, fresh and vibrant on day 60 as it is on day one. GEM LITES COURTESY OF CELEB LUXURY
