Conversations/ Launches 32 | BEAUTY LAUNCHPAD | MAY 2016 EDIBLE ARRANGEMENTS The phrase "It looks good enough to eat" has never rung truer. New Repêchage Fusion Express Bar and Spa Masks with Nutriceutical Organic Actives stimulate senses with delicious fl avors of chocolate, vanilla, pumpkin, mixed berry and green tea, while simultaneously providing nutritive skin benefi ts (repechage.com). "We're taking the esthetic experience to the next level by using high-quality ingredients culled from the culinary world," explains CEO and Founder Lydia Sarfati. Each mask contains laminaria digitata, the seaweed extract that forms the cornerstone of all Repêchage off erings. A natural source of 12 vitamins (including B12, C, E, K and beta carotene), 18 amino acids and 42 trace elements, the miracle algae nourishes dermis. Additional components include matcha, a fi nely ground powder made from specially grown green tea. "Renowned for counteracting the eff ects of free radicals caused by pollution and UV rays, which can lead to cell and DNA damage, matcha has even been known to aid in wound repair and with the treatment of eczema or rosacea," marvels Sarfati. Coconut oil, rich in saturated fats, makes for an ideal hydration agent. Açaí berry boasts antioxidants, while aloe vera is anti-infl ammatory. And the mildly astringent properties of orange water are useful in refi ning pores to prevent blemishes. "As an esthetician with more than 30 years experience, I know that when it comes to great skin for life, you can never start too young," Sarfati reveals. These facials were thus created with the teen and tween skincare market in mind—but all ages will drool over the mouthwatering results. Tea Time In its ongoing quest to create gorgeous-looking hair, Pai-Shau has added three new products to its arsenal: Royal Abundance Mousse and two hairsprays, Imperial Hold Hairspray and Sublime Hold Hairspray (pai-shau.com). Each of these new products made their debut on the locks of several 2016 Golden Globes and SAG Awards attendees, including Nicole Kidman, Amy Adams and Kate Hudson. Royal Abundance Mousse delivers volume and moisture to all tress types, from fi ne and straight to thick and curly, without weighing down strands. Additionally, the mousse offers style memory and soft structure while delivering frizz protection. If searching for structure, choose from two new sprays: Imperial Hold Hairspray guarantees superior updo grip, while Sublime Hold Hairspray allows fl exibility of movement on soft, tousled styles. Naturally, all three offerings are infused with Pai-Shau's Signature Exotic Tea Complex that promises superior shine and protection from environmental stressors via its proprietary blend of black, green, white, pu-erh and African red bush tea extracts.
