Tom Bachik, Global Nail Ambassador, OPI How has your experience helped prepare you for your position? I've learned so much through my experiences in the professional and retail markets. Both my victories and my failures have shaped me into the person I am today. My passion has drawn me back to the professional industry and OPI was the obvious choice, as it shares my enthusiasm for color, beauty and design. I look forward to building brand awareness, educating nail technicians and spreading the OPI message around the world to infl uence the industry in a positive way. What would you be doing if you weren't a manicurist? Growing up, I always wanted to be a pro soccer player, to race vehicles or to design cars. So naturally, I do nails. Funny how it all works! How do you unwind? I'm always working on my car or motorcycles; I fi nd it relaxing and rejuvenating. After spending all day polishing nails and listening to girl talk, I like to come home and just take things apart and put them back together again. I'm thrilled to be part of the new team at Bosley Professional that's already taking the company to the next level. We're going to make Bosley Professional the leading brand in the hair growth category. What's the key to making a sale? Establishing a strong relationship, and truly partnering with and listening to the customer in order to be a catalyst for their success. What do you do when you're not working?
