s anyone who has worked on a photo shoot can attest, it takes a strong team to execute a
stunning collection. Thus, Aveda gathered myriad artists from its Inspire Greatness salon team
to envision the brand's latest endeavor: an homage to the swinging '60s and '70s aptly named
Retroactive. "In terms of hair, we were inspired by the fun shapes, bold colors and overall playful
vibe of those decades," says the team. "For the makeup, we wanted to keep it mod and wearable,
as relevant for the women of the past as it would be for today's girl." Something old meets something new?
Sounds like a formula for success.
