The always philanthropic John Paul Mitchell Systems
worked with the makers of TLC network's Say Yes
to the Prom to sponsor the well-meaning endeavor,
helping to style deserving (though underserved) teens
from head to toe for their prom night. The man himself,
John Paul DeJoria, was on hand for the event, as
was television personality Monte Durham and fashion
icon Betsey Johnson. In addition to making all the
teens look and feel great for their special evening,
myriad scholarships were offered to these enthusiastic
scholars.
They Said "Yes!"
Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) has an
announcement! Coming this July, from the 9th to
the 11th at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center
in Las Vegas, the game-changing trade show
will launch Discover Pack, an area dedicated
to highlighting the most innovative packaging
solution suppliers in the market. "The packaging
section, like all our areas, has experienced steady
growth year after year," says Daniela Ciocan,
marketing director for CPNA. "Discover Pack
was created to meet growing demand while
simultaneously taking advantage of the fact that
CPNA features more than 1,000 fi nished goods
companies and
direct access to
up-and-coming
indie beauty
brands seeking
innovation."
