Opt for Lady Gaga's voluminous 'do for an affair worthy of the red carpet. "This look exudes timeless red carpet glamour," says Carrie Juhasz, Keune National Educator. "It's classic because it is sexy, beautiful and elegant. The more broken texture of the waves keeps this look modern and totally un-stuffy." Juhasz's guide to getting the look: STEP 1 Prep towel-dried hair with mousse, applying generously from roots to ends. STEP 2 Blow-dry hair with a round brush, over- directing to create volume at the base. STEP 3 Make a parting from ear to ear, and craft a deep side part. STEP 4 Set hair horizontally on a ¾-inch curling rod, lightly spritzing each section with hairspray. Pin up each curl to set. STEP 5 In the back section, continue setting hair horizontally using a brick-lay pattern, still pinning each curl to set. STEP 6 When cool, take out the curls and run your fi ngers or a wide-tooth comb through to break apart the set. STEP 7 Use a teasing brush to create a light, fl uffy tease in the interior of the crown for volume. Use a smoothing brush to give a fi nished look to the top. STEP 8 Enlist a wax to defi ne the texture and polish the curls. Finish with hairspray. "It Girl" Brie Larson's smooth, knotted style can instantly transform your client's overall look from traditional to fashion-forward. "This hairstyle is simple yet has a few quirky details to give it some interest," says George Papanikolas, Matrix Celebrity Stylist. "It's great for someone who wants to look elegant but with a little unexpected factor." Papanikolas' guide to getting the look: STEP 1 Prep hair by cocktailing a smoothing and glossing product onto damp strands. STEP 2 Blow-dry smooth. STEP 3 Create a center part and then twist each side section toward the back. Knot and pin at the nape. STEP 4 Mist on hairspray. STEP 5 Loop ends and pin the completed look into place.
